Panorama @ KLCC

AMONG the developers helping to shape the Kuala Lumpur City Centre highrise-dominated skyline are Singaporeans, one of which is award-winning developer UOL Group Ltd.

Recently, it unveiled plans to build a fan-shaped 33-storey icon in the Persiaran Hampshire locale called Panorama – so named because of its offer of sweeping city views from the floor-to-ceiling- windows in all the 223 condominiums to be built – to add to its growing portfolio of properties in the city.

In a press statement, UOL group president and chief executive officer Gwee Lian Kheng said “we already own the Parkroyal KL Hotel, Parkroyal Penang Hotel and One Residency at Jalan Raja Chulan”.

For the RM300 million Panorama, he said the units ranging from 592sq ft to 1,819sq ft and priced between RM750,000 and RM 2.37 million have been “designed for discerning investors who have high expectations”.

And in many ways, Panorama delivers. The layout of its 1,819sq ft unit, for example, has been fashioned to pamper those wanting stunning sceneries and flowing, functional floor plans.

Entering the unit, their eyes will gravitate towards the full- height windows providing views of the city’s bustling skyline. From here, they can watch the sun rise and witness the soft, butter- coloured rays bathe the skyscrapers in a westwards procession from the left.
